Kristy Haworth
Founder & Director | Structured Literacy Educator & Registered Teacher

Kristy has over 20 years of teaching experience, with a strong focus on supporting children with learning difficulties. She specialises in helping students who have struggled with reading and spelling finally build the foundational skills they need to become accurate, confident learners.
Her approach uses evidence-based structured literacy, with lessons tailored to each child’s individual needs and pace. Kristy is especially passionate about helping students rebuild their confidence and realise they can succeed with the right instruction.

Jane Kanizay
Specialist Structured Literacy Educator
Brighton, VIC | Online & In-Person
Jane has 7 years of experience supporting children with a range of learning differences, including dyslexia, dysgraphia, ADHD and autism. She works with students from early readers through to upper primary, helping them build strong, accurate literacy skills in a way that feels manageable and supportive.
Her approach is grounded in evidence-based structured literacy. Jane breaks learning down step by step and uses clear, direct instruction to help students make connections between what they see, hear and feel in language. She’s known for her patience, problem-solving, and ability to make complex concepts easier for children to understand, while building their confidence along the way.

Jane enjoys painting, drawing, trail running and trekking. She’s climbed Mt Everest (plus several other major peaks!) and brings that same sense of persistence and adventure into her sessions. As a parent of a child with dyslexia, she understands firsthand the challenges families face and brings genuine empathy to her work with both students and parents.
Cherry Matheson
Registered Teacher & Structured Literacy Educator

Cherry brings over 20 years of teaching experience, supporting students from early readers through to secondary school. She works with a wide range of learners and is especially passionate about helping children build confidence as they develop their literacy skills.
Her approach uses evidence-based structured literacy, with lessons broken down into clear, manageable steps. Cherry creates a calm and encouraging environment where students feel safe to have a go, experience success, and build accurate skills over time. She focuses on helping each child feel capable, motivated, and proud of their progress.

Cherry loves getting out for day walks and hikes in New Zealand’s beautiful landscapes. She’s approachable, caring, and brings a gentle sense of humour to her sessions.
Fun fact… she once thought she’d grow up to be a ballerina!
Sandeep Thandi
Structured Literacy Educator

Sandeep supports primary-aged students with a range of learning differences, including dyslexia and ADHD. She works with both early readers and upper primary students, helping them build accurate literacy skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Her approach uses evidence-based structured literacy with explicit, step-by-step instruction that helps learning feel manageable and achievable. Sandeep is passionate about building strong relationships with her students so they feel comfortable, confident, and supported during lessons. She incorporates repetition, scaffolding, and engaging activities to help students experience success and grow in confidence over time.
Having supported her own child through literacy difficulties, Sandeep understands firsthand how overwhelming reading and spelling challenges can feel for families. This experience sparked her passion for helping other children develop the foundational skills they need to become more confident learners.
