Let's rebuild your child's reading confidence
Learning to read is not a natural skill.
Some kids need specific instruction on how to read and without it, they will struggle. If you're here, your child needs more than the school can provide.
As parents, we're now taught how to teach our child to read so you can feel a little helpless.
That's where Step into Literacy comes in.
When we learn the process of teaching reading using a step-by-step systematic process, it becomes easy.
Our self-paced online parent course has live support and provides you with the complete step by step process on how to give your child reading confidence, without the rollercoaster of emotions and overwhelm.
It's logical, sequential and easy to follow and implement.
In Step into Literacy, we teach you how to do it, then you teach them.
You can and should be the one who turns these struggles around for your child.
Let us show you how.
PUT ME ON THE WAITLIST PLEASEQUESTION...
Why can some kids read with confidence and some can't?
The ability to successfully read comes down to how effectively a child processes language in the brain.
Truth is, some kids will seemingly just 'pick up' reading but 1 in 5 will struggle due to poor phonological processing.
When this happens, the child that struggles will need a different teaching approach.
They don't need:
❌ More reading practice.
❌ More being read to.
❌ More trying to memorise whole words.
❌ More of the same teaching that is failing them in the first place.
Instead, they need to:
✅ Find out exactly what they know using our easy to follow assessment.
✅ Go back to the start and fill in the foundation gaps.
✅ Learn how the letter to sound codes work in syllables.
✅ Put those syllables together to read with accuracy and confidence.
✅Practice applying this new knowledge with all of the resources needed to do so.
I'll walk you through it.
Step into Literacy is based on the research-backed Orton Gillingham approach. It is structured, evidence-based and easy to follow. What's more? It makes sense and yields results and confidence quickly.
I teach you, you teach them. 🚀✨
Does this sound familiar...
- You have an amazing kid but they suffer from anxiety, have low confidence & self-esteem.
- Your child may have had some school-based or run-of-the-mill tutoring literacy intervention but you've seen minimal progress.
- You want to help your own child but you are unsure of what you should be doing and how to get started.
- Your child is saying things like "I'm dumb" and connecting their self-worth to their reading ability and it worries you.
- One to one therapy is either too expensive or limited in your area.
- You want your child to gain confidence with reading and spelling and be the best and happiest that they can be.
I get it.
I know because sadly, I've heard it time and time again.
It's frustrating not knowing how to help your child
I know your child is really smart but they don't 'get' reading
Your child is starting to notice that they are behind compared to their friends
It can be different for you though.
We asked our Step into Literacy parents
'What things are you noticing about your child, indicating INCREASED CONFIDECE since starting Step into Literacy?'
This is what they said...
"She is so proud of her own achievements. Hasn’t talked anymore about how ‘stupid’ she is or how all her friends are smarter because she’s seeing her own progress and is focused on that."
~ Geraldine, mum of a 6 year old
"She is a lot more confident.
There are so many chances to feel successful, it's improved her attitude to reading. Self correction has also been lovely to see."
~ Sandra, mum of a 7 year old
If nothing changes, nothing changes

You can show them how to be the confident little person that they were born to be.

WAITLIST ME PLEASEOther Step into Literacy families have this to say to you...
"Kristy Haworth from Step Into Literacy has been a powerful teaching presence for me as a homeschool mum.
By offering tuition on English that even teachers in school generally don’t/can’t utilise, I was able to supply my children with leading resources.
We feel like we’ve not only learned basic reading/writing skills, but have advanced skills now, stuck has boosted our confidence along with accelerating the kids’ learning journeys."
~ Jo, mum of 10 and 13 year old kids
"Do it! What’s the alternative?
The current schooling system wasn’t working for my child. Continuing doing the same thing and expecting a different result just wasn’t going to happen.
I’m so happy that I took the plunge. I don’t regret a thing.
The most rewarding thing has been seeing my daughter succeed where she was consistently failing. My daughter simply needed a different strategy."
~ Sandra, mum of a 7 year old
Your 'Step into Literacy' Tour Guide
Hi! I'm Kristy.
I specialise in working with kids who struggling with reading.
Over ten years ago, I created 'All Kids Can Education' because I know that when we teach kids how the written English codes work in a systematic and structured way, all kids can learn to read with success and confidence.
I love coaching parents and helping them to help their children. It gives me a buzz!
I have worked with so many AMAZING parents (just like you) and have seen the impact that they have had at home with our approach.
I know that as a parent yourself, you might feel overwhelmed with English too. I get it! So, we make it easy to follow, logical and systematic.
I would love to work with you. Come along for the ride with me and I'll show you the way.
Kristy XO
